What we collect

Account details (name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, bar council number, city), case diary entries (court, parties, hearing dates, notes, client contact details when you provide them), research queries and search analytics, feedback and report flags, and billing references from payment providers (we never store card numbers).

How we use it

To provide the service: run verified research, keep your diary, and deliver hearing reminders over WhatsApp/SMS. Search logs are used internally to find gaps in the judgment corpus. We do not sell your data.

Client data you enter

When you enter client names and phone numbers for reminders, you act as the data controller and are responsible for any consent required. We process that data only to send the reminders you configure.

Processors

We use a small set of processors to run the service: cloud hosting (Vercel/Railway), database and object storage, messaging providers (Twilio/360dialog) for WhatsApp/SMS, and payment gateways (JazzCash, Easypaisa, PayFast). Each receives only the data it needs.

Retention & deletion

Diary and account data is kept while your account is active. You may delete matters at any time; deleting your account removes personal data except billing records we must retain by law.

Security

Sessions are token-based over HTTPS (TLS everywhere); passwords are hashed (bcrypt); case diary data is isolated per account and backed up encrypted. OTP codes are rate-limited and one-time. No system is perfectly secure — report issues to hello@sanadai.pk.

No training on your case data

Your diary — case titles, parties, client contacts, notes — is confidential advocate work product. We never use it to train AI models, never feed it to third-party LLM providers, and never expose it to other users. Only text you deliberately submit as a research question reaches the answer engine, and the answer engine can only cite judgments already in our public corpus.

Judgment corpus

Judgments are public documents published by the courts. We store and display them with source attribution (the court and source site) and link the original PDF where the court provides one.

Your rights

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time via hello@sanadai.pk.
